Puppy Dish?

Should we add this little puppy dish to our family?

Reasons for:

Love
Companionship
Cuteness Factor
Memories
(Responsibility)Preparation for a Child
Safety
Exercise
Very little pet odor (a perk with this breed)

Reasons against:
Poop and Pee
Loss of Freedom (Can't go where we want, when we want)
Cost
Responsibility (Let's face it, that's a pro and a con)
Possible Collateral Damage
SHEDDING

We just can't decide. Met her today, probably need to make a choice in a couple of days before someone else buys her. She's a pure bred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She will be completely red and white when her coat fully comes in. Vote in the sidebar and help us with this decision!

  1. I am not a dog person but i have to say I kinda fell in love with that little puppy from your little video forever ago. Scarlet watched that thing so many times sometimes it felt like I had a little welsh corgi of my very own...

  2. Just think of it like this Katie. It's like having a 3 year old around....all the time!
Don't get me wrong, I do love our dog Rusty, and he is easy! But it really is like having a little child around. Cats you can leave for a few days (of course you do leave them food!) But I say, if you have a good friend or family who can watch the little bundle of joy, do it!

  3. Having a pet really is great prep for having a kid!

  4. This puppy is ADORABLE! Aaron and I have tried to do the pet thing a couple times and I must say it was not my favorite...but that's because we were both gone ALL the time and had NO yard. As long as you brush the little gal twice a day (which sounds like a lot but is really no big deal) you can keep the shedding under control. I keep telling Aaron as soon as we have a little more space and a yard we will try again. If I had the space of your cute home and the yard space you do, I would get this little pup in a heartbeat.
